Ziebell's Farmhouse and Heritage Garden

Ziebell's Farmhouse is a significant heritage site that provides a window into the lives of the German pioneers who settled the area. The beautifully preserved bluestone farmhouse, built by the Ziebell family, is one of the oldest buildings in the region. The surrounding gardens are maintained in a traditional 19th-century style. The site is part of the larger Westgarthtown heritage precinct and is adjacent to a Lutheran church and cemetery from the same period. The farmhouse and gardens are open to the public on selected days, offering a fascinating glimpse into the past. Dogs are welcome on a leash in the grounds. Entry to the grounds is free, but a donation may be requested for building access.
