Yea Wetlands

The Yea Wetlands, also known as the Yea Peppercorn Billabong, is a stunning natural attraction right on the edge of town. The wetlands protect a beautiful billabong and a magnificent forest of mature River Red Gums. The key feature is the extensive and accessible network of boardwalks that allows visitors to wander through the wetlands and amongst the trees, offering a fantastic and immersive nature experience. The wetlands are an important habitat for a wide variety of birdlife. The site also includes the Yea Wetlands Discovery Centre. It's a perfect spot for a gentle walk and birdwatching. Dogs are welcome on a leash. Entry is free.
