Yanakie Foreshore

The Yanakie Foreshore is a beautiful and popular camping and day-trip destination located on the shores of the sheltered Corner Inlet. Its most spectacular feature is the breathtaking, panoramic view across the water to the majestic granite peaks of Wilsons Promontory. The foreshore has a large and popular campground, a boat ramp, a playground, and picnic facilities. It's a great spot for fishing, boating, and enjoying the tranquil coastal scenery. While the main attraction is the view, the foreshore itself is a lovely place to walk and relax. An entry fee is required for camping, but day visitors are generally free. Dogs are permitted on-leash.
