Wilson Botanic Park

Wilson Botanic Park is a magnificent 39-hectare parkland that has been created on the site of a 19th-century basalt quarry. The park features a dramatic landscape with sheer quarry faces, beautiful lakes, and a diverse collection of both native and exotic plants. A network of walking tracks, including a path around the main Anniversary Lake, allows visitors to explore the different areas of the park. Several lookouts provide stunning panoramic views. The park is a popular venue for weddings and events and has excellent picnic and barbecue facilities, a playground, and a cafe. It has a designated off-leash area for dogs. Entry is free.
