Werribee River Park

Located adjacent to the Werribee Park Mansion precinct, the Werribee River Park offers a more natural, rustic experience. The park protects the beautiful floodplain of the Werribee River, which is dominated by magnificent and ancient River Red Gums. It's a fantastic and quiet spot for walking and birdwatching, with a 5km network of trails that follows the river and loops through the woodlands. The park has a simple picnic area with barbecues and toilets. It provides a peaceful contrast to the bustle of the nearby zoo and mansion. Dogs are welcome on a leash. Entry is free.
