Wandown Flora and Fauna Reserve

Wandown Flora and Fauna Reserve is a conservation area dedicated to protecting the unique Mallee ecosystem. The reserve is characterized by its sandy soils, spinifex, and various species of Mallee eucalypts. It is an important habitat for a range of wildlife adapted to arid conditions, including many species of birds and reptiles. The reserve has no visitor facilities and is primarily of interest to serious naturalists and birdwatchers. Access is via unsealed tracks, and visitors must be self-sufficient. Dogs are not permitted. Entry is free.
