Vaughan Mineral Springs Reserve

Vaughan Mineral Springs is a very popular and historic reserve within the Castlemaine Diggings National Heritage Park. Visitors can sample the natural mineral water from a hand pump. The reserve is set in a beautiful valley on the Loddon River and is a favourite spot for picnics and camping. A unique feature is a giant slide that has been built into the concrete wall of the river weir, providing hours of fun in summer. The reserve has excellent facilities, including a playground, swimming holes, and numerous picnic and barbecue spots. Dogs are permitted on-leash. Entry is free, but camping fees apply.
