Turpins Falls Scenic Reserve

Langley, Goldfields, VIC

155-175 Shillidays Rd, Langley, VIC 3444

Turpins Falls is a magnificent natural feature located in a deep, amphitheatre-like gorge. The falls cascade over a wide rock face into a very large, deep billabong below. A steep path with many steps leads from the car park down to a viewing area. The billabong is a very popular swimming spot in summer, known for its cool, clear water. However, visitors should be aware that swimming is unpatrolled and jumping from the cliffs is strictly prohibited and extremely dangerous. The scenic beauty of the gorge and the falls makes it a worthwhile visit even for those not swimming. Dogs are permitted on-leash. Entry is free.
