Terrick Rd, Mitiamo, VIC 3573
Terrick Terrick National Park is a landscape of contrasts. It protects Victoria's largest remnant of Northern Plains Grassland, an ecosystem that is now critically endangered. This flat landscape is punctuated by rugged granite outcrops, including Mount Terrick Terrick itself. The park is of immense conservation importance, providing a habitat for threatened species like the Brolga and the Plains-wanderer. Visitors can climb to the summit for panoramic views, explore the woodlands, or enjoy a picnic. The park is particularly beautiful in spring when the grasslands are covered in wildflowers. Dogs are not permitted in the national park. Entry is free.
