Located in a separate section of the Tarra-Bulga National Park, the Tarra Valley Rainforest Walk is a delightful and accessible nature experience. The easy, 1.4km return walk follows the Tarra River through a beautiful, sheltered gully that is packed with tree ferns and other rainforest vegetation. The walk culminates at the lovely Cyathea Falls. The path is well-maintained and suitable for most fitness levels. A picturesque picnic area with barbecues and toilets is located at the start of the walk, making it a perfect spot for a day trip. As part of a national park, dogs are not permitted. Entry is free.
