Tarago Reservoir Park

Tarago Reservoir Park is a beautifully landscaped picnic area set in a tranquil forest environment. The park features rolling lawns, shady picnic spots, and free electric barbecues. A unique feature is the rock garden, which displays a variety of rock specimens from the dam's construction. Several short walking tracks allow visitors to explore the surrounding bushland and enjoy views of the Tarago River downstream of the dam wall. It's a lovely, quiet spot for a family picnic and a gentle walk. To protect the water supply, dogs are not permitted. The park gates open and close at set times. Entry is free.
