Tara Bulga National Park protects a pocket of pristine cool temperate rainforest, providing a window into the past landscape of Gippsland. The park is renowned for its magnificent, towering Mountain Ash trees and its incredibly lush understorey of tree ferns, mosses, and lichens. A highlight of the park is the Corrigan Suspension Bridge, which takes visitors for a walk through the rainforest canopy. A network of well-maintained walking tracks, including the Fern Gully Nature Walk, makes it easy to explore this magical environment. A visitor centre and a well-equipped picnic area are located at the main entrance. As a national park, dogs are not permitted. Entry is free.
