Snowy River National Park

Snowy River National Park protects one of Australia's most iconic river landscapes. The park is a remote and rugged wilderness, offering a true adventure for experienced visitors. The main features are the spectacular river gorges, particularly around the historic McKillops Bridge. The park is a premier destination for multi-day rafting and canoeing trips down the Snowy River. On land, it offers challenging bushwalking and remote 4WD touring. There are several beautiful and secluded riverside campgrounds. Much of the park is accessible only by unsealed roads, and visitors must be well-prepared and self-sufficient. As a national park, dogs are not permitted. Entry is free, but camping fees apply.
