Silvan Reservoir Park

Silvan Reservoir Park is a magnificent public park known for its breathtaking scale and beautifully manicured landscape. The park is set in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges and features vast, sloping lawns dotted with magnificent conifers and deciduous trees, creating a spectacular display of autumn colour. A key feature is the formal garden area with its beautiful stone retaining walls. An extensive network of walking tracks allows visitors to explore the park and the surrounding eucalypt forest. The park is exceptionally well-equipped for picnics and large gatherings, with numerous barbecues and shelters. To protect the water supply, dogs are not permitted. The park gates open and close at set times. Entry is free.
