Sherbrooke Forest is a quintessential Dandenong Ranges experience. It is renowned for its towering Mountain Ash trees, the tallest flowering plants on Earth, and its magical understorey of lush tree ferns. The forest is famous for its population of Superb Lyrebirds, and visitors are often treated to their incredible vocal mimicry. A network of walking tracks, including the popular Sherbrooke Falls Walk, winds through the beautiful scenery. The Sherbrooke Picnic Ground is a well-equipped and popular spot to start a walk or enjoy a picnic. As part of a national park, dogs are not permitted. Entry is free.
