Shepherds Hill Recreation Park features wide trails with lovely views over the Adelaide Plains and coastline. Dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead (no longer than 2 metres) and under control at all times. The popular Seaview Loop is a 2.2 km circuit offering superb views, favoured by local dog walkers. The fire trail is wide and suitable for hiking, dog walking, jogging, and mountain biking. Terrain can be steep and loose in sections. Walks can be extended to the old railway viaduct and tunnel. The park features tall gum trees, native birdlife, and a calming atmosphere. Easily accessible via public transport with Eden Hills Railway Station nearby. Parking and drinking water available. Dogs on-leash only to protect wildlife.
