Sandringham Foreshore Reserve

The Sandringham Foreshore Reserve is a key part of the Bayside coastline, stretching from Hampton to Black Rock. The reserve is characterized by its long, sandy beaches, shady picnic areas, and the iconic Bayside Coastal Trail, a shared path that is constantly used by walkers, runners, and cyclists. Historic band rotundas and the Sandringham Yacht Club add to the scenic charm. The reserve has numerous playgrounds and picnic/barbecue facilities, making it a very popular destination, especially in summer. Dog regulations vary along the foreshore, with some beaches having seasonal off-leash times; it is important to check local signage. Parking along Beach Road is typically paid. Entry to the reserve is free.
