Pirates Bay Nature Recreation Area, located near Eaglehawk Neck on Tasmania's south-east coast, is renowned for its breathtaking coastal scenery and significant geological features. The area encompasses the historic convict sites, the surf beach, the Tasman Arch, and Devils Kitchen, all of which hold regional, national, and international significance. The Tessellated Pavement, a unique marine weathering formation, is also listed on the National Estate for its outstanding example of this process.
