Parkville Gardens

Parkville Gardens is a series of interconnected parks and wetlands that form the green heart of the Parkville Gardens housing estate. This area, on the site of the former Commonwealth Games athletes' village, has been transformed into a high-quality public open space. The parklands feature beautifully landscaped walking and cycling paths, modern playgrounds, picnic and barbecue facilities, and several public art installations. The wetlands are designed to manage stormwater and have become a habitat for birds and frogs. It's a great example of modern park design integrated into a residential community. Dogs must be kept on a leash. Entry is free.
