Paddys Ranges State Park

Paddys Ranges State Park is a fantastic destination for nature lovers, particularly in spring. The park protects a large area of box-ironbark forest which supports over 230 species of wildflowers, creating a spectacular display of colour. It is also a premier birdwatching location, with over 140 recorded species. The park is dotted with relics from the gold rush era, and recreational prospecting is a popular activity. A network of tracks makes it suitable for bushwalking, scenic driving, and cycling. The main picnic and camping area at Karri Track has good facilities. Dogs are permitted on-leash. Entry is free.
