Noojee Trestle Bridge Rail Trail
Noojee, Gippsland, VIC
10-20 Mount Baw Baw Tourist Rd, Noojee, VIC 3833
The Noojee Trestle Bridge is an impressive and historic structure that was once part of a railway line used to transport timber from the surrounding forests. Standing 21 metres high and 102 metres long, it is a magnificent example of early 20th-century engineering. The old railway line has been converted into a rail trail, and visitors can walk or cycle across the top of the bridge, enjoying the views into the ferny gully below. The trail is part of a longer 3km path. A pleasant picnic area is located at the base of the bridge. Dogs are welcome on a leash. Entry is free.
