Napier Park
Strathmore, Melbourne, VIC
2-12 Woodland St, Strathmore, VIC 3041
Napier Park is a precious 5-hectare reserve that preserves a patch of the original landscape of the Keilor Plains. It is one of the last remaining examples of Plains Grassy Woodland in the metropolitan area and is home to several rare and significant plant species. A network of gravel paths allows visitors to wander through the ancient River Red Gums and native grasslands. A small playground is located at the edge of the park. It's a beautiful and peaceful spot for a quiet walk and a chance to see what the region looked like before European settlement. Dogs must be kept on a leash. Entry is free.
