Mount Granya State Park

Mount Granya State Park protects a steep, dry forest landscape overlooking Lake Hume and the Murray River. The park's main attraction is the challenging walk or drive to the summit of Mount Granya. From the top, visitors are rewarded with breathtaking, 360-degree views that take in the winding Murray River, the lake, and the surrounding farmland and forests. The park is also popular for picnicking at the Cotton Tree Creek picnic area, which has basic facilities. It's a great park for birdwatching and enjoying the solitude of the bush. Dogs are permitted on-leash. Entry is free.
