Mount Beckworth Scenic Reserve

Mount Beckworth Scenic Reserve protects a large granite outcrop that rises above the surrounding volcanic plains. The reserve is a beautiful spot for bushwalking, with a network of trails that wind through open woodlands and past impressive granite boulders. A walk to the summit is rewarded with panoramic views of the countryside. The reserve is particularly known for its stunning wildflower displays in spring. A pleasant picnic and camping area is located at the base of the mountain, with basic facilities. Dogs are permitted on-leash. Entry is free.
