Mildura Botanic Gardens
Mildura, Loddon Mallee, VIC
180-190 Nineteenth St, Mildura, VIC 3500
The Mildura Botanic Gardens is a relatively new botanic garden, established in 1979 on the site of a former citrus orchard and vineyard. A highlight of the gardens is the magnificent sensory garden, which features one of the largest public rose collections in Australia. The gardens also have themed areas, including a section dedicated to plants from the Mallee region and a Bult-Jjin-Gari indigenous garden. A lake and walking paths create a peaceful atmosphere. The gardens are a great spot for a family outing, with a playground and picnic/barbecue facilities. Dogs are welcome on a leash. Entry is free.
