Maroondah Reservoir Park

Maroondah Reservoir Park is renowned for its impressive landscape design and historic infrastructure. The park's main feature is the 41-metre high dam wall, which visitors can walk across for stunning views of the reservoir and surrounding mountains. The park below the wall is a beautiful example of 1920s landscaping, with manicured lawns, grand European trees, and colourful flower beds, all set against a backdrop of native forest. A network of walking tracks, including a trail to the base of the spillway, allows for exploration. The park is very popular for picnics, with excellent facilities. To protect the water supply, dogs are not permitted. The park gates open and close at set times. Entry is free.
