Lake Lorne Reserve

Lake Lorne Reserve is a vibrant recreational hub for the Bellarine Peninsula. The freshwater lake is a significant habitat for a wide variety of waterbirds, which can be observed from the walking track that circuits the lake. The reserve is particularly popular with families, featuring a large adventure playground and extensive lawns for picnicking. A unique attraction is the Bellarine Peninsula Railway, a miniature train that operates on selected weekends. The reserve is well-equipped with barbecues, shelters, and toilets. Dogs are welcome on a leash. Entry is free, but a fee applies for the train ride.
