Koondrook Regional Park

Koondrook Regional Park protects a stretch of the iconic River Red Gum forest adjacent to the town of Koondrook. The park provides a beautiful riverside setting for picnicking and walking. Its main feature is the Koondrook Red Gum Forest Walk, an elevated walkway that takes visitors through the forest floor and up into the middle canopy, offering a unique perspective on the forest ecosystem and its wildlife. The walk provides information about the local Aboriginal heritage and the importance of the river. Dogs are permitted on-leash. Entry is free.
