Kent Group National Park is a remote archipelago located in Bass Strait, Tasmania, comprising five main islands and several islets. Established in 2004, the park spans 2,374 hectares and is renowned for its pristine marine environment and diverse wildlife. The islands are accessible only by water, via private or chartered boat, or by very experienced sea kayakers. Visitors can enjoy activities such as fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving, with the clear waters offering excellent visibility and abundant marine life. The park is also home to the wrecks of two steamships, Bulli and Karitane, located in West Cove and Squally Cove respectively, providing unique diving opportunities. As a no-take zone, the park offers a sanctuary for various marine species, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts seeking an untouched natural environment.
