Jells Park is the central hub of the Dandenong Valley Parklands. This 127-hectare park is one of Melbourne's busiest, offering a vast array of recreational opportunities. It's built around Jells Lake and features over 9km of walking and cycling paths, including the Dandenong Creek Trail and the Scotchmans Creek Trail. The park is renowned for its extensive picnic and barbecue facilities, with numerous shelters and open lawns. It has several playgrounds, including the popular 'Yabbie Hill' playscape. A visitor centre and cafe are also located on site. A large area of the park is designated for off-leash dog exercise. The park gates open and close at set times. Entry is free.
