Hattah-Kulkyne National Park
Hattah, Loddon Mallee, VIC
Hattah-Robinvale Rd, Hattah, VIC 3501
Hattah-Kulkyne National Park showcases two distinct Victorian landscapes. The park is dominated by the semi-arid Mallee country, with its red sands and unique vegetation. This dry landscape is contrasted by the Hattah Lakes system, a chain of freshwater lakes and creeks that are filled by the Murray River during floods. This creates a wetland oasis that attracts immense numbers of waterbirds. The park is ideal for bush camping, especially around the lakes, as well as fishing, canoeing, bushwalking, and four-wheel driving. Several campgrounds are available. As a national park, dogs are not permitted. Entry is free, but camping fees apply.
