Hale Conservation Park offers rugged terrain of granite outcrops, seasonal creeks and eucalypt woodland. Walking tracks climb to lookouts with views across the Barossa foothills. Kangaroos and echidnas are often sighted. There are no built picnic facilities; it is best suited to self-sufficient hikers.
