Greens Bush (part of Mornington Peninsula National Park)

Greens Bush is a tranquil section of the Mornington Peninsula National Park, located inland from the rugged coastline. It offers visitors a chance to experience the original bushland of the peninsula. A network of walking tracks, including the popular 8km Greens Bush Loop, meanders through classic Australian bush landscapes, from tall stringybark forests to damp, ferny gullies. It's a fantastic area for birdwatching and is home to a large population of kangaroos, which are often seen grazing in the open pastures on the edge of the bush. There are two main access points, Baldrys Crossing and Highfield, both with car parks and picnic tables. As it is part of a national park, dogs are not permitted. Entry is free.
