Glenelg Beach is Adelaide's most iconic beach destination. Dogs are allowed off-leash before 10am and after 8pm during daylight savings. Outside daylight savings, dogs can be off-leash all day. Dogs must be under effective control at all times (close, responding to commands, in sight). Glenelg North Beach, located at the quieter north end, allows dogs off-lead all year round and is popular for early morning and evening walks. The beach features waste bag dispensers and is close to pet-friendly cafés. Parking is available nearby. Dogs must be on-leash during peak beach hours in daylight savings.
