The Glen Iris Wetlands are a key feature of the Gardiners Creek Valley. These purpose-built wetlands play an important role in improving water quality and providing habitat for native wildlife, particularly birds and frogs. A network of boardwalks and gravel paths allows visitors to walk through the wetlands and enjoy the serene environment. The wetlands form part of the popular Gardiners Creek Trail, a major shared path for cyclists and pedestrians. The area has been extensively revegetated with native plants, creating a beautiful natural atmosphere. Dogs must be kept on a leash. Entry is free.
