George Pentland Botanic Gardens

The George Pentland Botanic Gardens provide a green oasis in the heart of Frankston. The gardens are beautifully landscaped around an ornamental lake that is home to ducks and other water birds. A network of walking paths winds through both native and exotic plant collections, including a sensory garden. A major highlight for families is the large, modern nature-based adventure playground located within the gardens. There are ample lawns and shady picnic spots, with barbecue facilities available. Dogs must be kept on a leash. Entry is free.
