The reserve is accessible via Lake St Clair Road, approximately 2.5 hours' drive from Hobart. Visitors can enjoy a variety of walking tracks that showcase the region's diverse flora and fauna. The area is known for its dense forests, mossy undergrowth, and the serene Echo Point, which offers picturesque views of Lake St Clair and the surrounding mountains. Parking is available at the trailheads, and dogs are not permitted to protect local wildlife. A valid parks pass is required for entry, which can be purchased online or at the visitor centre in nearby Cynthia Bay.
