Devils Gullet State Reserve is a remote and rugged area located in Tasmania's Central Plateau, approximately 50 kilometers southwest of Launceston. The reserve is renowned for its challenging terrain and offers panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness. Access to the reserve is via Devils Gullet Road, a gravel track suitable for high-clearance vehicles. Visitors should be prepared for steep and uneven paths, and it's advisable to check local conditions before planning a visit. The area is not equipped with facilities such as picnic tables, barbecues, or shade structures. As a remote and undeveloped site, there are no designated areas for off-leash dog walking. Entry to the reserve is free, but visitors are encouraged to practice Leave No Trace principles to preserve the natural environment.
