Churchill National Park

Churchill National Park is a protected area of woodlands that provides a vital habitat for native wildlife on the edge of the city. The park is characterized by its hilly terrain and stringybark forests. It's a popular destination for walkers, runners, and cyclists, with a 4km sealed track and numerous other trails to explore. The park is home to a large population of kangaroos, which can often be seen grazing in the open areas, as well as wallabies and echidnas. A dedicated picnic area at the entrance provides barbecues, tables, and toilets. The park is connected by trails to the adjacent Lysterfield Park. To protect the native wildlife, dogs are not permitted. The park gates open and close at specific times. Entry is free.
