Churchill Island Marine National Park

Churchill Island Marine National Park protects the waters and intertidal mudflats surrounding the historic Churchill Island. While the marine park itself is an aquatic environment, it is best experienced from the walking tracks on Churchill Island itself. The park is a crucial feeding ground for migratory wading birds and is an important fish nursery. The island features a historic working farm, heritage buildings, and beautiful gardens. A 5km loop track around the island offers fantastic views of the marine park and its mangrove fringes. Entry to the island and its walking track is free, but access to the heritage farm is a paid attraction managed by Phillip Island Nature Parks. To protect the wildlife and farm animals, dogs are not permitted on the island.
