Cardinia Reservoir Park

Cardinia Reservoir Park is a vast and popular destination for picnics and family gatherings. The park features extensive, manicured lawns dotted with numerous picnic and barbecue shelters. A key attraction is the native wildlife, with large mobs of kangaroos and emus often seen grazing in the open areas. A walking track leads to a lookout on the southern dam wall, offering panoramic views of the reservoir and surrounding landscape. The park is exceptionally well-equipped with toilets, playgrounds, and ample parking. To protect the wildlife, dogs are not permitted in the park. The park gates open and close at set times. Entry is free.
