Capoompeta National Park is a remote conservation area in the New England region with a low level of visitor infrastructure. Like many remote NPs in the region, its focus is on conservation rather than recreation. No marked walking tracks or established visitor facilities are published. Access is difficult and intended for experienced bushwalkers. Parking & Fees: Entry to the park is free. Visitors should be aware of possible aerial baiting programs (1080 poison) for wild dogs and foxes, making it essential to keep domestic pets away from the entire area.
