Buchan Caves Reserve

The Buchan Caves Reserve is centred around a spectacular system of limestone caves, including the Royal Cave and Fairy Cave, which can be explored on guided tours. The caves are adorned with stunning calcite formations like stalactites and stalagmites. Above ground, the reserve is a beautiful park with shady trees, open lawns, and the Buchan River flowing through it. It's a popular spot for camping and picnicking, with excellent facilities including a swimming pool, visitor centre, and playgrounds. Several walking tracks allow visitors to explore the surrounding bushland. While entry to the reserve grounds is free, there is a fee for cave tours and camping. Dogs are permitted on-leash in the campground and picnic areas but not on cave tours.
