Baw Baw National Park

Mount Baw Baw Tourist Rd, Baw Baw Village, VIC 3833
Baw Baw National Park protects a large, pristine sub-alpine plateau. In winter, the park is a popular destination for snow activities, particularly at the adjacent Mount Baw Baw Alpine Resort. During the warmer months, the snow melts to reveal a stunning landscape of colourful wildflowers and ancient snow gums. An extensive network of walking trails allows visitors to explore the plateau's unique granite outcrops, heathlands, and historic huts. The park is a critical habitat for the endangered Baw Baw Frog. While general entry to the national park is free, paid entry applies to the Mount Baw Baw Alpine Resort during the declared snow season. Dogs are not permitted in the national park.
