790 Arthurs Seat Rd, Arthurs Seat, VIC 3936
Arthurs Seat State Park is a landmark destination on the Mornington Peninsula, rising 314 metres above sea level. It is most famous for the spectacular views from its summit, stretching across Port Phillip Bay to the Melbourne city skyline. The park is crisscrossed by a network of walking tracks that wind through native bushland. Key attractions include the Arthurs Seat Eagle, a modern gondola that glides from the base to the summit, and the Seawinds Gardens, which feature a blend of indigenous and formal gardens, sculptures, and picnic facilities. The park has several picnic areas with barbecues and tables. While entry to the park itself is free, the Arthurs Seat Eagle is a paid attraction. Dogs are permitted on-leash in some areas, but are not allowed in Seawinds Gardens.
