Ararat Hills Regional Park

Ararat Hills Regional Park encompasses a range of steep, forested hills that provide a natural backdrop to the town of Ararat. The park is characterized by its open eucalypt woodlands and is a popular spot for bushwalking, birdwatching, and trail running. A highlight of the park is the drive or walk to the One Tree Hill Lookout, which provides sweeping views over the town and the surrounding volcanic plains towards the Grampians (Gariwerd) and Mount Langi Ghiran. The park has limited facilities, preserving a more natural bushland experience. Dogs are permitted on-leash. Entry is free.
