Arapiles-Tooan State Park

Arapiles-Tooan State Park is located near the Wimmera town of Natimuk. The park is dominated by Mount Arapiles, a dramatic rock formation that rises abruptly from the surrounding plains and is regarded as one of the top rock climbing destinations in the world, with over 2,000 documented climbing routes. Beyond climbing, the park offers excellent walking trails, including a path to the summit which provides panoramic views. The separate Tooan Block section of the park features low sandy ridges and woodlands, popular for birdwatching and nature walks. The Centenary Park picnic area at the base of Mount Arapiles has barbecues, picnic tables, and toilets. Dogs are not permitted in the park. Entry and parking are free.
