Anstey Swamp Wildlife Reserve

Anstey Swamp Wildlife Reserve is a large, shallow freshwater marsh that is a site of regional significance for waterbirds. The reserve is a particularly important breeding and flocking site for Brolgas. It also provides a habitat for numerous other bird species, making it a key destination for serious birdwatchers. The reserve is a more natural, undeveloped site, with access via unsealed tracks. There are no formal visitor facilities, with the focus being on conservation and passive observation of wildlife. Dogs are not permitted. Entry is free.
