Anakie Gorge is the most popular and accessible part of the Brisbane Ranges National Park. The main feature is the Anakie Gorge Walk, a 3km one-way trail that follows the scenic, rocky course of Stony Creek. It's a fantastic walk for families and those new to bushwalking, offering a great taste of the park's rugged beauty and unique geology. The walk passes through woodlands and offers good opportunities for spotting koalas and other wildlife. The two main picnic areas, Anakie Gorge and Stony Creek, are well-equipped with barbecues, tables, and toilets. As part of a national park, dogs are not permitted. Entry is free.
