Alum Cliffs State Reserve, known as 'tulampanga' to the Aboriginal people, is a 1.6 km return walk located between the townships of Mole Creek and Chudleigh. The track is accessible via a signed loop road from B12 Road. The walk is classified as Grade 2, suitable for most ages, featuring a hardened or compacted surface with gentle hill sections and occasional steps. Along the trail, visitors can enjoy sculptures and outdoor furniture created by local Aboriginal artists, reflecting the area's cultural significance. The track culminates at a lookout 200 meters above the Mersey River, offering stunning views of the river as it flows through a narrow, cliff-lined gorge.
